Jaguars, WR Jakobi Meyers Agree to Terms on Contract Extension

JACKSONVILLE – Jakobi Meyers is staying around.
Meyers, a veteran wide receiver acquired in a midseason trade, has agreed to terms on a long-term contract extension with the Jaguars.
Meyers, acquired by the Jaguars in early November in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for a fourth- and sixth-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, reportedly agreed to terms on a 3-year extension. He was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent following the season.
Meyers, 29, a 7-year NFL veteran, has caught 27 passes for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns in 6 games since the trade. The Jaguars are 5-1 during that span.
Meyers has 453 career receptions for 5,299 yards and 23 touchdowns.
