Andrew pictured lying across five women in Epstein files

A photograph released as part of the Epstein Files shows Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lying across the laps of five women with Ghislaine Maxwell grinning in the background.

A young-looking former prince is pictured in an undated photograph published on Friday wearing a suit and lying across several seated women in front of an ornate fireplace.

Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend and long-time confidante, is photographed smiling down at the royal while standing next to a woman in formal dress, at what appears to be a grand event.

Fresh revelations over the extent of Andrew and Epstein’s friendship could prove a further embarrassment for the Royal family.

Details of the former duke’s friendship with the paedophile, which continued after Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting a child for prostitution, threatened to plunge the monarchy into crisis earlier in 2025, prompting King Charles to strip him of his remaining titles.

A palace outcast

It has cemented the late Queen’s son as a palace outcast, with Andrew pictured riding a horse alone in the rain on the Sandringham estate earlier this week while his family united for a festive lunch.

Andrew was ordered to leave his Windsor mansion in October following weeks of intense scrutiny over his links to Epstein and his accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

In a posthumous memoir published earlier that month, Mrs Giuffre repeated allegations that she was made to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions. Andrew has always denied the claims and any other wrongdoing.

In an unprecedented statement scrubbing the Duke of York’s name out of existence, the King said at the time that his “utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse”.

The move followed revelations in a drip-feed of documents, the latest tranche of which was published on Friday, that proved Andrew had lied to the public over claims he had cut ties with Epstein.

The former prince claimed in an infamous Newsnight interview in 2019 that he ended his friendship with the financier in 2010 following Epstein’s conviction for procuring a child for prostitution.

A recently surfaced email showed the former duke continued to pursue their friendship beyond this, writing to Epstein in 2011 “We are in this together”.
