THIBODAUX, La. (WVUE) – A search for a missing Thibodaux man ended Saturday morning (Dec. 20) when investigators found his body in a pond near his home.
Tavares Coleman Jr., 25, was found dead Dec. 20, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said.
Coleman had been missing since the afternoon of Dec. 14, when he left his residence on Line Street in Thibodaux and did not return. He left behind his wallet, cell phone and vehicle.
Coleman’s death remains under investigation. Detectives have found no evidence of foul play, Webre said.
