Two New York locations sell $1 million Powerball tickets; jackpot grows to $1.7 billion

No one won the $1.59 billion jackpot in Monday’s Powerball drawing, but two tickets sold in New York matched five numbers to claim $1 million second prizes.
One winning ticket was sold at a newsstand at 45 Pine St. in Manhattan (near Wall Street). The second million-dollar ticket was purchased at a Shell gas station at 100 W. Merrick Rd. in Valley Stream, Nassau County.
The two New York winners were among nine $1 million second-prize winners nationwide. The other winning tickets were sold in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Monday’s winning numbers were 3, 18, 36, 41, 54 and red Powerball 7.
With no jackpot winner, the prize has rolled over to an estimated $1.7 billion for the next drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025. The cash value option for the upcoming drawing is estimated at $781.3 million.
Wednesday’s jackpot will rank as the fourth-largest in Powerball history and among U.S. lottery games.
Beyond the two $1 million prizes, New York had seven winners of $50,000 third prizes, 212 winners of $100 fourth prizes, and 472 winners of $100 fifth prizes.
