Rob & Michele Reiner’s Death Certificates Reveal Final Moments

More details have been revealed about the deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner. Death certificates confirm the couple died of “multiple sharp force injuries” as a result of “homicide” and “with knife, by another”.

The documents. released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and obtained by TMZ, also reveal the time between the beginning of the attack and their deaths as “minutes”. It reveals Rob Reiner’s body was found at 15:45 and Michele Reiner’s at 15:46. The time and date of death is listed as “unknown”.

Rob and Michele Reiner were found dead at their Brentwood home on Sunday, December 14. The Reiners’ son Nick has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the alleged killing of his parents. If found guilty, the younger Reiner could face the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole. Nick Reiner has not entered a plea. The next hearing has been set for January 7.

Along with a friend, the couple’s daughter Romy discovered her parents’ bodies in their bedroom on December 14. She had been alerted when the elder Reiners did not answer a scheduled visitor on the security buzzer on their home. A 911 call around 3:38 pm PT soon afterward on that first night of Hanukkah brought medical assistance and law enforcement to the Brentwood home.

The Reiners’ children released a statement earlier this week that a memorial service for their parents is being planned. “Jake and Romy Reiner remain grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received. They will share information about a memorial service honoring their parents at a later date.”
