‘Big Brother 27′ houseguest Mickey Lee dead at 35, family says

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A beloved contestant from the long-running CBS reality show “Big Brother” has died, her family says.

Mickey Lee passed away at age 35 on Christmas day, according to a post on her Instagram account from her family.

Lee was the eighth houseguest evicted in Big Brother 27, the season that aired this past summer.

The Jacksonville, Florida, native had been in critical condition after experiencing a series of cardiac arrests from complications due to the flu.

Her family created a GoFundMe page for expenses while Lee was hospitalized. The fundraising page described the situation as a sudden health crisis that placed significant emotional and financial strain on Lee and her family, citing mounting hospital and ongoing care costs.

No additional details were shared about her death.
