Kon Knueppel suffers right ankle injury vs. Magic

Knueppel exited the second quarter with an ankle injury.
Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel left Friday night’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a right ankle injury and will not return.
Charlotte announced on social media that Knueppel would not be able to check back into the game.

Knueppel, the No. 4 overall selection in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Duke, is averaging 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game through his first 30 games in the NBA.
The 20-year-old has played in every Charlotte game so far.
Knueppel scored a team-high 16 points before sustaining his injury.
