Heated Rivalry has reached its nail-biting conclusion, but don’t worry as two of its stars will be collaborating with Quinn for a new romance series.
Quinn shared on X that Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams will be the next celebrity guests to feature on their app, which specializes in audio erotica.
Quinn teased the potential pairing joining the app previously, but now we finally get to see the actors as fans are eager to hear what’s in store. The Heated Rivalry stars appear in a blurred photo with the caption, “Cottage after party at our place?“
Heated Rivalry, based on the novels by Rachel Reid, has become a global success after only being made for a Canadian network, but finding success when HBO acquired the series. HBO and HBO Max’s chairman, Casey Bloys, stated in an interview with GQ, “When somebody says there’s a gay hockey show with explicit sex scenes, you go, Great, I want to look at that.”
A second season of Heated Rivalry is already greenlit as its main stars have signed on for an additional third season. Due to its continuing success, Heated Rivalry has one of the highest rated TV show episodes of all time. It also has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The series is immersed into the world of competitive hockey as Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) compete against each other, but find themselves feeling a magnetic pull fueled by ambition and rivalry. The r-rated romance drama concluded its first season with “The Cottage”, which the app Quinn has referenced in their promotion, which had the synopsis:
“Shane and Ilya get away from the spotlight for a rare moment of freedom. But when the outside world intrudes, they have to face some tough decisions that could change everything about their future and what it means to build a life together.”
It’s unclear when Storrie and Williams’ new romance series will release, but knowing the passion these actors can convey on screen, there will be an endless number of fans tuning in. Heated Rivalry is available to stream on HBO Max.
