Terry Bradshaw convinced he could have saved a lot of money on his wife at Christmas

Terry Bradshaw thought he had cracked the code to big-time Christmas bargains and holiday sales like Al Bundy on an episode of Married with Children, until luxury fashion reminded him that nothing is safe from being reinterpreted in the world of extravagance, not even rocks.
During Sunday’s FOX NFL Sunday broadcast, a regular desk conversation shifted to gift-giving when host Curt Menefee mentioned buying his wife Hermes “rocks.” Bradshaw immediately looked up, thinking his co-host scored one of the biggest holiday financial wins of the year, as if this wasn’t the first time his cast attempted to tease him.
“Hey, I found if you give your wife rocks, you can save a lot of money,” Bradshaw said in a dead serious tone. Michael Strahan chimed in with a dose of reality and said, “You really believe your wife didn’t get Hermes rocks?” Strahan replied. “Things happen.”

Bradshaw looked genuinely confused, as if he had never heard of the luxury brand. Hermes has been around since 1837, long before the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback won four NFL Super Bowls and earned a Pro Football Hall of Fame nomination during a time when fans wanted their team broken up.
“I never heard about that. Nobody told me that,” he said. Menefee later clarified that the rocks weren’t real, at least not in the Jurassic Park sense that Bradshaw probably imagined.
The Menefee family’s Christmas was spent without social media, and neither he nor his wife shared pictures of their actual presents.

“I know they’re not real,” Bradshaw said. “But I could have saved a lot of money.”
He continued with a serious tone and said, “I could have gone down the yard and gotten some rocks.”
Unfortunately for Menafee and Bradshaw, their on-air joke was inaccurate because Hermes actually did sell rocks, which retailed for $840 in five colors and sold out immediately.

The Hermes rock can still be found on after-market consignment shops like TheRealReal for $725. The rock, better known as the Galet Paperweight, was part of a Hermes program that repurposes leftover luxury materials into deliberately excessive objects
Whether Menefee was joking or not barely mattered as the exchange was just another moment in the long, hilarious history of jokes between Bradshaw and the cast. As for what Bradshaw actually bought his wife Tammy this Christmas, specifics weren’t shared publicly.

The couple has instead focused their social media presence on promoting the Bradshaw Family Cookbook and Terry’s signature Blonde Bomber cocktail.
They also showed off a luxury Atlas golf cart on Instagram two weeks before Christmas Day. Tammy Bradshaw hasn’t posted traditional Christmas family photos since 2014, with a new focus on product promotion.
