Ryan Mason makes two key decisions with under pressure West Brom boss desperate for a win

The Baggies boss is under mounting pressure – with many fans calling for him to go as Albion face QPR.

It is not known whether Albion will pull the trigger if they are beaten against the Hoops – but one thing is for sure, they need a result.

And Mason has named the side he believes could get his side a result – and he has made a couple of surprise changes.

Chris Mepham’s return to the side on Boxing Day lasted all of one game – as he is dropped with Alex Mowatt coming into the side in central midfield.

That means Callum Styles has been moved out to left back with Taylor starting in the heart of the backline.

Elsewhere, Isaac Price, who had a rotten afternoon against Bristol City, has also been taken out of the side in place of Samuel Illing-Junior.

Judging by the selection it looks like either Karlan Grant or Mikey Johnston will play in the ten behind Aune Heggebo.

Albion: Wildsmith, Campbell, Phillips, Taylor, Styles, Diakite, Mowatt, Johnston, Grant, Iling-Junior, Heggebo

Subs: Griffiths, Mepham, Bielik, Molumby, Price, Maja, Dike, Bostock, DuPont,
