She joined the London Stadium outfit back in 2009, when she was the Head of Marketing.
After that, Warren climbed her way to a prominent position at the club and was appointed to the board in 2015.
She is known to be a close ally of Karren Brady, who serves as the vice-chairman.
Warren also played a pivotal role in major projects, notably the Hammers’ move to the London Stadium, along with shaping marketing strategies, commercial growth, broadcast rights, and stakeholder management.

What impact will Warren’s exit have on West Ham?
Warren was viewed as a steady and reliable figure behind the scenes, so her exit will cause some ripple effects.
The strategic planning and marketing aspects of Warren’s role will need to be assigned immediately, or a replacement brought in as soon as possible.
J Albert Smith and Daniel Harris are two non-executive directors, and a different role could be on the cards for either of them.

Warren’s departure could see someone else being elected to the board, and it could be the beginning of an upheaval at the club.
Fans, for years, have rightly been frustrated with the governance of the club, and this could be viewed as a step in the right direction.
As things stand, no official announcement has been made by the club, but it now seems to be only a matter of time.
