Forest Green Rovers have signed Merthyr Town striker Ricardo Rees in a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Rees scored 23 goals in 25 National League North appearances for the Martyrs this term, having hit the target 38 times in 2023-24 and 33 in the previous season.
Rovers say Rees’ fellow Welshman Robbie Savage, their boss, is “absolutely delighted” to welcome the former Bristol City Under-23s academy product to their ranks.
Rees could make his debut when Rovers host Halifax Town on Saturday, 3 January (15:00 GMT).
