In a December 28 Instagram carousel, Roker’s 27-year-old daughter, Leila, gave fans a glimpse into what the holidays were like for the family of America’s weatherman. As it turns out, Roker’s crew “had a very sick Christmas,” but in the caption, Leila explained that it was “magical” anyway. Perha;
“Like what seems like half of the internet, we also had a very sick Christmas. 🤒🎄 Christmas morning champagne 🍾 was replaced by apple cider vinegar tea 🍵 and cold medicine💊 between cookies 🍪 . But in between the coughs and sneezes, puzzles were solved 🧩, gifts were exchanged 🎁, laughs were had and traditional movies watched,” she wrote in a caption. “Not the Christmas we expected but a magical one nonetheless ❄️💗.”
Not to be outdone by his daughter, Roker shared his own family Christmas photo on December 28, and judging by his smile, fans can tell he was overjoyed that he was able to spend Christmas with his youngest daughter.

“Perfect Christmas present having @leilaroker home for the holidays,” the longtime TODAY star captioned.
That wasn’t the only holiday update fans received from Roker. On December 26, he gave everyone a peek at his Christmas morning, and once again, the 71-year-old was completely enamored by his granddaughter, Sky. (Just look at that adorable photo of him, Sky, and his wife, Deborah; it’s too cute!)
Ever since she was born, Roker has been in full “proud grandpa” mode whenever he’s around her, and fans everywhere were happy to see even more photos and videos of the two of them.
