The New York Stock Exchange will be open for trading at normal hours, 9:30 a.m. ET to 4 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 2, with the usual early and late-trading hours.
NYSE American Equities, NYSE Arca Equities, NYSE National, and NYSE Texas late trading sessions will open at the usual times.
After Thursday, the stock market schedule will be business as usual until the markets close again on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
Is Nasdaq open on Jan. 2, 2026?
Nasdaq will be open for normal trading hours on Friday.
Is the U.S. bond market open on Jan. 2, 2026?
The U.S. bond market closed early on Wednesday, according to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and remained closed through New Year’s Day, but it will be open at normal hours on Friday.
