The FBI said Friday that it foiled a terrorist attack planned for New Year’s Eve in North Carolina.
The suspect, Christian Sturdivant, has been charged with attempted material support to a foreign terrorist organization. Officials had been tracking him since 2022, according to a federal affidavit.
