When asked by DAZN about his return to Bergamo, the Roma boss said, “Amazing, I received a show of affection yesterday. I haven’t left yet… There’s a game today, but the affection, the emotions, the friendship, and what we’ve done remain. Now let’s try to play this game.”

“Before the match I met all the guys, the players with whom we’ve shared so many years and so many games. It’s one of the best things about football to be able to get together again, and we hope to be able to do so for many more years. But there’s the game and there are the fans involved, there are the objectives, and it’s right that it should be like this for the 90 minutes.”

“The attack? Nothing’s missing, the problem is that we always have some defections. Right now we have Bailey, Pellegrini, and Baldanzi out. When you have Dovbyk coming back, but he’s been out for a long time, when you have defections in the same department, it’s more difficult.”
