Found is having a streaming resurgence. The NBC series, which ran for two seasons from 2023 through 2025, followed Gabrielle “Gabi” Mosely (Shanola Hampton), a crisis manager who solves missing persons cases with the reluctant help of her former kidnapper Hugh “Sir” Evans (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), who she keeps trapped in her basement. It was cancelled in May 2025, the same month that the Found season 2 finale aired.
Now, seven and a half months after its cancellation, Found is finding new life on Netflix in the United States. According to Netflix‘s daily Top 10 chart for the region, it is the No. 7 series of the day at the time of writing, just one day after arriving on the platform on January 2.
Some of the series populating the rest of the chart are among Netflix’s most popular shows, including Stranger Things (No. 1), which just aired its series finale on December 31, and Emily in Paris (No. 5). See the full chart below:

Among the current Top 10, Found is the only show that originally aired on a television network other than Netflix. This could be a very good sign for the future of the recently cancelled series, especially considering the fact that the majority of the Netflix originals on the chart are either new original releases or flagship series, which get much bigger pushes on the platform.
Found season 3 is far from guaranteed. In fact, TVLine‘s Matt Webb Mitovich reported that “the shopping process is over” in July 2025. However, if the show continues to perform well both in the United States and globally, this could encourage Netflix to pursue acquiring the series and renewing it.
This has happened for multiple cancelled network series in the past, including Lifetime’s You (which received four additional seasons after season 1 became a Netflix hit), NBC’s supernatural drama Manifest (which was given a fourth and final season by Netflix), and Fox’s fantasy mystery series Lucifer (which Netflix gave three additional seasons after season 3).
Should Found be renewed, because it was cancelled quite recently, it might be able to return to the airwaves after a hiatus that is only slightly longer than the average hiatus for a network series.
