ARLINGTON, Texas — Ohio State football defensive back Bryce West is entering the transfer portal.

He leaves the Buckeyes after spending two years in the program as a highly rated player in the 2024 recruiting class. He was the No. 64 player and No. 9 cornerback out of Cleveland’s Glenville High School.

Over the past two seasons, West has played 120 snaps, with most coming as a nickel safety. He recorded 11 tackles, a pass breakup and a forced fumble.

West is the fourth Buckeye to enter the transfer portal, joining quarterback Lincoln Kienholz, tight end Jelani Thurman and wide receiver Bryson Rodgers.
