TED NUGENT Revisits DAMN YANKEES Hit “Coming Of Age” With NIGHT RANGER Live In Michigan (Video)

Rock legend Ted Nugent has shared video of himself “rocking on a cool Michigan Saturday with my Night Ranger buddies!” They performed the Damn Yankees hit “Coming Of Age”, a song originally recorded by Nugent, Night Ranger vocalist / bassist Jack Blades, vocalist / guitarist Tommy Shaw (Styx) and drummer Michael Cartellone (Lynyrd Skynyrd).
“Coming Of Age” was the Damn Yankees first single, taken from their self-titled debut released in 1990, which hit #60 on the US Hot 100 and #1 on the AOR charts and went double Platinum. They followed up in 1992 with Don’t Tread, which went Gold. The band was reportedly paid a million dollars by their label not to record a third album due to the changing music climate in 1994.
