LSU football signed a transfer running back from Utah as it rebuilds the offense

LSU signed Utah transfer running back Raycine Guillory as it rebuilds a depleted position room, he told The Advocate on Monday.
Guillory was a three-star recruit and the No. 478 overall player in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He redshirted during his freshman season at Utah, giving him four more years of eligibility.
LSU only has one scholarship running back, freshman Harlem Berry, who has remained with the team during the coaching change to Lane Kiffin. As it looks for multiple running backs in the transfer portal, it recently hosted former UC Davis running back Carter Vargas.
Coming out of Aledo High School in Texas, Guillory took a visit to Ole Miss when Kiffin and running backs coach Kevin Smith were still with the Rebels. Guillory, who’s listed at 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, had one carry for four yards this past season.
So far, four LSU running backs have said they would enter the transfer portal: sophomore Caden Durham, junior Kaleb Jackson, sophomore Ju’Juan Johnson and freshman JT Lindsey. Berry agreed to return as he finalized a new deal with the team.
Guillory became the second transfer to join the transfer class. He joined Hawaii wide receiver Jackson Harris, who committed Sunday after taking a visit to Baton Rouge.
Kiffin and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. have to rebuild an offense that scored 22.8 points per game this past season.
