Orange you glad they didn’t break up? Timothée Chalamet won the 2026 Critics Choice Award for Best Actor for his work in Marty Supreme, and he used his time onstage to thank his longtime girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. “Thank you to my partner of three years,” he said at the end of his speech. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you.” Anyone confused about the “foundation” comment is not alone: Chalamet’s fellow CCA nominee Amanda Seyfried commented on a post sharing Chalamet’s speech, “OH not like a foundation/charity I was curious about that.”

This is the first time Chalamet has mentioned Jenner in an awards speech, but she’s been growing in presence at his promotional events for Marty Supreme following the rumors that the two were breaking up. Most famously, the two wore matching bright-orange outfits to the film’s New York premiere (which were promptly parodied by Meg Stalter and Paul W. Downs). Their newfound public closeness comes after reports that they were on the rocks because he had “no comment” on their relationship in his November Vogue cover story.

Chalamet also found time in his Critics Choice speech to nervously compliment the work of his fellow nominees: Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Edgerton, Ethan Hawke, Wagner Moura, and Michael B. Jordan. “Leo, I’m staring straight at you, man,” he said. “Joel, Ethan, we used to table reads at LAByrinth Theater Group in New York, Ethan. Wagner, Michael, Joel … I don’t think I’m forgetting anyone, help me.” Then he found time to return to Jordan and compliment his work further. “Michael, man, unbelievable,” he said. “Just rewatched Sinners. Hadn’t seen the after-credits scene, I’m happy I stuck around the second time.” If he wins the Oscar, hopefully Chalamet will take the time to review each of his fellow nominees’ movies equally.
