Jennifer Lawrence reveals her ideal sex scene co-stars and who gives her the ick factor

Jennifer Lawrence is pulling back the bedsheets on Hollywood sex scenes!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know they’re awkward to film — every star says that. But sometimes a role calls for a little freaky deaky.
So what is Lawrence’s take on shooting NSFW scenes?

The Oscar winner prefers strangers in the sack rather than friends or longtime colleagues. During an appearance at 92NY, the actress — who recently starred alongside Robert Pattinson in “Die My Love” — explained, “It was actually easier that way because Rob and I did not know each other, which is kind of better, you know?”

She added, “Like in ‘Hunger Games,’ me and Josh Hutcherson would have to kiss and that’s like imagine it. You know? It’s weirder. So yeah, doing it with a stranger is preferable.” One hundred percent, Jen. We get it.

Despite her success, Lawrence admitted acting can still be “very embarrassing.” But she managed to shake off some of her nerves by taking “interpretive dance lessons” before shooting a scene with Pattinson.
The 35-year-old star shared, “We got to Calgary like three weeks before we started shooting. Rob and I both [are] embarrassed very easily, and that was mortifying. It was, I mean, I’m not … a dancer, Rob’s [the] worst dancer.”

Lawrence continued, “And, and it was like, now blow like a tree — like it was just so embarrassing. So I think by the time she [the director] was like, ‘Yeah, get naked.’ We were just kind of like, ‘Okay, at least it’s not interpretive dance.'” Yes, please, anything but interpretive dance.

Meanwhile, Lawrence recently confessed something she absolutely refuses to do. Well, besides return my calls or autograph my forehead. Speaking to Leonardo DiCaprio for Variety, she said, “No [I don’t watch my own films].” What? Not even “Mocking Jay” Part One or Two?!
Lawrence joked, “I’ve never made something like Titanic… if I did, I would watch it.” Then she added, “Once I was really drunk, I put on ‘American Hustle.’ I was like, I wonder if I’m good at acting? I put it on, and I don’t remember what the answer is.” The answer is YES! You, milady, are a gift to the silver screen and don’t you forget it.

The “Hunger Games” star also told the outlet, she learned a lot about acting through working with David O. Russell, the director of “Silver Linings Playbook,” “American Hustle,” and “Joy.”
She said, ” … I know he’s tough. He can be really, really hard on people. For me, I don’t know if it was because I grew up doing sports, and so I felt like he was just a stern coach. ‘Do it loud,’ ‘Do it quieter,’ ‘That was b*******,’ ‘That was bad,’ ‘Do it better.’ He was very straightforward with me.”

She went on to share, “I was 21 when I did ‘Silver Linings’ and it felt alive. I never felt like he was yelling at me. I really don’t like being tiptoed around, like I’m an emotional landmine. I hate that.”
