Ex-Rams star Aaron Donald showcases insane post-NFL retirement workout session

Aaron Donald hasn’t logged a snap in the NFL since the 2023 season, but it sure looks like he could still play.

The former Rams defensive tackle shared a video of one of his recent workouts to his TikTok page on Tuesday, and in the footage, the 34-year-old could be seen moving some serious weight.

The Super Bowl winner picked up 160-pound dumbbells with relative ease, laid on his back, and then chest pressed them over and over again.

In total, the future Hall of Famer got up at least nine reps before the clip cut out.

What made the feat even more impressive was that Donald said the lift occurred at “the end of my workout.”

“Been doing a lot s–t already,” he noted before picking up the weight.

Donald, of course, has been known to be a workout warrior, even in retirement — as Jared Verse found out just a few months ago.

In July, the NFL’s 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year told Rams media members Donald worked him out so hard, he at one point had to tell the Super Bowl champion’s wife “to call the police.”

“I’m dead serious,” he said. “I’m not even joking. I’m dead serious. I told her to call the police.”

“She wouldn’t do it,” he added with a smile.

Donald played for the Rams from 2014 through 2023. He made the Pro Bowl 10 times, earned All-Pro honors eight others — and he could clearly still sack quarterbacks at a high level if he truly wanted to.
