Wednesday marked Sexton’s first 20-point performance since November as he matched his season high with 22 points in Charlotte’s 97-96 defeat to the Raptors. The reserve guard connected on seven of 13 field-goal attempts and knocked down three three-pointers while grabbing two rebounds. His scoring output paced the Hornets despite coming off the bench.
Fantasy Impact:
Sexton’s 22 points represented Charlotte’s highest individual total in the narrow one-point loss. The efficient shooting performance delivered his best scoring effort of the campaign, ending a lengthy drought without reaching the 20-point threshold.
