5 Years After No Way Home, Spider-Man Is Reuniting Its 3 Most Iconic Villains Onscreen In 2026
Season 2 of the latest Spider-Man TV show, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, is set to arrive on Disney+ in 2026, and with it one of the most villainous triumvirates ever created. This animated series already introduced us to its version of Norman Osborn and Doc Ock in season 1, but now another iconic Spideyverse villain will appear alongside them.
Although the voice cast for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s second season hasn’t yet been confirmed in full, we already know that Venom will be part of it. The big Venom reveal for Season 2 happened back in October 2025, at New York Comic Con (NYCC).
With this legendary parasitic antagonist’s arrival on the show, something is about to take place that we haven’t seen onscreen since 2013. While the three most celebrated Spider-Man villains featured in a movie as recently as 2021’s No Way Home, they haven’t actually starred in the same scene or storyline for 13 years.

Having already made Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus the ultimate rival villains in its first season, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is about to bring Venom into play, too. In the season 2 teaser trailer debuted at NYCC, we see him in his essential alien form, as a symbiote roaming the Oscorp headquarters.
If this symbiote develops into the fully-fledged villain we expect it to be with the help of Norman Osborn, then it’s virtually guaranteed that the Venom, the Green Goblin and his nemesis Doc Ock will all be onscreen together in this year’s release from the latest Spider-Man animated series. Peter Parker will certainly have his hands full.
The Last Time All 3 Villains Were Together Was Ultimate Spider-Man In 2013

The last time we saw Doctor Octopus, the Green Goblin, and Venom altogether onscreen was during a 2013 episode of the hugely underrated animated TV show Ultimate Spider-Man. In the season 2 episode “Venom Bomb”, Spider-Man actually works with Doc Ock to fight Venom when the Green Goblin unleashes him.
Whereas we’ve seen Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus together multiple times in recent years, Venom is a different story. Technically, he did feature in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside Green Goblin and Doc Ock. However, Tom Hardy’s post-credits appearance as Eddie Brock had nothing to do with the film’s other villains.
Spider-Man comics are a different story, but in TV shows and movies within the franchise, whether live-action or animated, the coming together of the three most formidable villains that Spidey ever has to face is a relatively rare occurrence. Fans should stay tuned in 2026 for what’s set to be a major event in franchise history.

The arrival of Venom in the newest animated iteration of the Spider-Man franchise is only the most prominent example of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man raising the bar with its villains. While Doc Ock, the Green Goblin and his company’s rampaging symbiote will be the main focus of season 2, their fellow villains Scorpion and Chameleon will also play their part.
Even the upcoming MCU Spider-Man movie Brand New Day will struggle to top this spectacular roster of antagonists. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is harking back to the most impressive feats of crossover villainy in animated series from a bygone era.
