Final Injury Report for Nets-Grizzlies, Will Michael Porter Jr., Ja Morant Play?

Memphis enters Sunday’s game with a 16-22 record after losing at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder at home on Friday night.

In Friday’s loss to the Thunder, Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way for the Grizzlies as he recorded 23 points and seven rebounds while GG Jackson added 18 points and two rebounds of his own off the bench.
Now Memphis will try to bounce back at home on Sunday as they face off against a struggling Nets team.
On the other side, Brooklyn enters Sunday’s contest with an 11-24 record after losing at home to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.

Michael Porter Jr. led the way for the Nets in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 18 points, five rebounds and six assists while Egor Demin recorded 19 points and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Nets Injury Report, Will Michael Porter Jr. Play?
For the Nets, they have four players listed on their injury report for Sunday’s matchup, including Porter Jr.

Brooklyn has ruled out Porter Jr. due to rest as he will miss his first game since January 2, which could allow for Danny Wolf and Cam Thomas to have increased roles.

The Nets have also ruled out Ziaire Williams due to an illness while Drake Powell will be sidelined due to left knee injury management.

Haywood Highsmith has also been ruled out as he continues to be sidelined while recovering from knee surgery.
Grizzlies Injury Report, Will Ja Morant Play?
On the other side, the Grizzlies have six players listed on their injury report, including star guard Ja Morant.

Memphis has ruled out Morant due to a right calf contusion as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest.

With Morant sidelined once again, both Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. could be in line for larger roles.
The Grizzlies have also ruled out Brandon Clarke, Zach Edey, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. as they remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

John Konchar has been listed as questionable due to recovery from left thumb UCL surgery and there is a chance he could return from a 14-game absence on Sunday.
