Ohio State football lands commitment from All-ACC transfer safety

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has landed a commitment from transfer safety Earl Little Jr.
The former Florida State standout spent two seasons with the Seminoles. He’s the fifth addition to OSU’s roster out of the transfer portal this offseason.
Little started his collegiate career at Alabama where he signed as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. In one year with the Crimson Tide, he played 21 defensive snaps and overlapped with former OSU safety Caleb Downs.
Little transferred to Florida State ahead of the 2024 season. He played 179 snaps in his first campaign with the Seminoles before having a breakout season in 2025.
Little collected 76 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles en route to earning second team All-ACC honors.
He’s a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who attended American Heritage High School.
Little projects to start alongside Jaylen McClain in Ohio State’s secondary next season.
