Oregon has landed its first non-specialist out of the transfer portal

Tight Andrew Olesh, a former four-star prospect who spent last season at Penn State, committed to transfer to UO on Sunday. He has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

The No. 57 overall prospect and No. 3 tight end in the class of 2025 in the 247Sporst Composite, Olesh chose Penn State over Oregon, Florida, Michigan and Notre Dame. On3 first reported the commitment of the 6-foot-5, 236-pound Olesh, who did not play while redshirting this season.

Olesh is the fourth transfer to Oregon this offseason, joining former Nevada punter Bailey Ettridge and kicker Keaton Emmett and Western Michigan long snapper RJ Todd, and his addition gives the Ducks 80 projected scholarship players in 2026.
