Elle Fanning is like a fairytale dream in Gucci at the 83rd Golden Globes.
The stylish actor was all smiles as she walked the red carpet into Los Angeles’s iconic Beverly Hilton hotel tonight, her floral gown swishing with her.
An embroidered cascade of daisy petals and floral fringes in different powdery shades of blue decorated the Gucci design from head to toe, while crystals and multicolored beading added more shimmer. The gown had a deep V neckline and a cinched waist that created a sophisticated hourglass silhouette, and Fanning continued the flora-and-fauna motif with a diamond butterfly necklace.

Fanning is a 2026 Golden Globe nominee for her performance as Rachel in the Joachim Trier-directed film Sentimental Value, also starring Renate Reinsve and Stellan Skarsgård. The movie follows a pair of estranged sisters who reunite with their once-famous film director father after their mother’s death.

In the Best Supporting Actress—Motion Picture category, Fanning is up not only against co-star Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, but also against beloved actresses Emily Blunt (The Smashing Machine), Ariana Grande (Wicked: For Good), Amy Madigan (Weapons), and Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another).
Fanning kicked off awards season last weekend, when she made a radiant appearance at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in a plunging gold vintage Ralph Lauren gown—topping all best-dressed lists. At the January 4 show, she was also nominated for her performance in Sentimental Value, (though the award ultimately went to Amy Madigan for Weapons).
And most recently, on Friday, the star of The Great was honored with the Vanguard Award at the Astra Film Awards, a prize that recognizes actors whose careers reflect a variety of performances and an unwavering commitment to storytelling.
