State Police Arrest Felton Man for 5th Offense DUI – Delaware State Police

The Delaware State Police arrested 64-year-old Whitey Moore of Felton, Delaware, for a fifth-offense felony DUI and related traffic charges following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon in Camden-Wyoming.
On January 10, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a trooper patrolling westbound on Henry Cowgill Road, near Dundee Road, saw a GMC Sierra weaving in and out of its lane. A computer search revealed the vehicle displayed an unregistered license plate. The trooper conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, identified as Moore, who showed several signs of impairment. During a search of the GMC, troopers located multiple bottles of alcohol that had been consumed. Moore was taken to Troop 3, where he continued to show signs of impairment, and a blood search warrant was obtained.
A computer check showed Moore had four prior DUI convictions and a suspended driver’s license.
Moore was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,700.00 cash bond.
