Golden Globes 2026: Julia Roberts Details “Life-Affirming” Party With Ayo Edebiri & Andrew Garfield
Julia Roberts went method for her After the Hunt role.
Indeed, the Golden Globes 2026 nominee detailed how she channeled her character by throwing a dinner party of her own for castmates Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield and director Luca Guadagnino.
“We had a beautiful time,” Julia told E! News’ Zuri Hall outside of the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif Jan. 11. “We kind of weren’t sure—my husband and I—what we were getting into when we said, ‘Why don’t we have everyone come?’ And before I could even bring up the idea, Luca said, ‘What if we come to your house?’ And I was like, ‘I was just about to say that.’”
And while Julia—who is up for Best Performance by a Female Actress at the 83rd annual ceremony, set to air on CBS and stream on Paramount+—and husband Daniel Moder were apprehensive, she admitted, “It was kind of life-affirming.”
“We never stopped cooking, cleaning,” she detailed. “Every setting. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. It was beautiful.”
Another beautiful moment? Julia’s attendance at the Golden Globes in the first place. After all, it was the first time in seven years the After the Hunt star graced the red carpet.(Click here to see all the celebrity arrivals.)
