CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago’s Irish community has chosen its next St. Patrick’s Day Parade Queen.

Claire Cahill was crowned on Sunday at the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Hall on the city’s Near West Side.

The 27-year-old woman is from Lincoln Park.

Cahill will be at the St Patrick’s Day Parade, a tradition now in its 71st year.

Cara Walsh was the queen for the 2025 parade.
