Police searching for 9-month-old baby girl after alleged custodial interference in the Bronx, NYC

THE BRONX (WABC) — Police are searching for a missing 9-month-old baby girl after an alleged custodial interference in the Bronx.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on Friday at a home on Bryant Avenue near Crotona Park.

According to the NYPD, Alexandria Quinones, 29, was visiting her 9-month-old when she fled the scene with her baby. Police say Quinones does not have custody of the 9-month-old.

The 9-month-old is named Luveiya Williams, officials said.

The missing child is described as a baby girl with brown eyes and a light complexion. Quinones, who has a medium complexion and black hair, was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Police say all tips are confidential.
