The Jonathan Kuminga Trade Landscape Latest

Even as we near January’s midpoint, there are few absolutes on the NBA trade market in the wake of the Trae Young-to-Washington swap that materialized so quickly.

The work continues for us to conclusively identify buyers and sellers and players that can be firmly classified as available in advance of the Feb. 5 trade deadline.

One of the clearest items on the agenda, though, can be found in Golden State. Ja Morant might be the traded by the Memphis Grizzlies and Anthony Davis is now unlikely to be traded by the Dallas Mavericks in the next 20-plus days because of a hand injury, but we know with certainty that the Warriors will be doing everything they can to find a workable Jonathan Kuminga deal once the oft-discussed (but rarely played) swingman becomes trade-eligible at last on Thursday.
