Pop Star Announces He Won’t Perform With Bad Bunny At Super Bowl 60

As the sports and entertainment world wonders who will be performing on stage with Bad Bunny at Super Bowl 60, one pop star has made it clear that he won’t be joining the Puerto Rican singer and rapper.

The NFL announced last fall that Bad Bunny will be headlining the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8. The Grammy winner will be headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show in Northern California.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

The NFL is excited, as well.

“We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment,” said Jon Barker, SVP of Global Event Production for the NFL.

The lead Super Bowl halftime show performers will typically have other artists joining them for collaborative performances.

Who will be joining Bad Bunny on stage?

J Balvin has previously performed with Bad Bunny. He was on stage at Super Bowl LIV with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

Will he be performing this time?

J Balvin, 40, announced on Monday that he will not be performing with Bad Bunny on stage.

“There was some speculation J Balvin might get in the mix after he made a surprise reunion with Benito on stage in Mexico City last month for BB’s tour finale … but it ain’t happening,” TMZ Sports reported.

“Instead, J Balvin says he’s gonna be cheering Bad Bunny on from the sidelines … he’ll be at the Big Game, he just won’t be on the big stage.”

Who do you want to see performing with Bad Bunny in February?
