A Portland Trail Blazers star plans to host his first retail pop-up event this week.
Damian Lillard announced that he would be at Hearth inside Washington Square Mall from 6-8 p.m. Friday to celebrate his Y.A.G.I. mixtape and the release of accompanying apparel for the music project.
Lillard, who is sitting out this NBA season while he recovers from a torn Achilles, said in a social media post that he would take photos with anyone who buys Dame D.O.L.L.A. apparel at the store.
“Limited spots available,” Lillard wrote. “See y’all Friday!”
The mixtape, which dropped in October, is available on streaming platforms under Lillard’s stage name, Dame D.O.L.L.A. The Y.A.G.I. abbreviation stands for You Acquire Greatness Internally.
A commenter on X predicted one potential side effect of the event: “Heads up, Washington Square Mall. Prepare for the real traffic jam.”
