NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — Police in Montgomery County have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Norristown last year.

He was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Hamin Boyd on the 1000 block of Powell Street back on November 30.

Washington is the third person to be arrested in Boyd’s murder.

Mark Fields, 18, of Norristown, and Theodore Adams, 17, of Philadelphia, were previously arrested.

“The murder of Hamid Boyd appears to have been caused by senseless feuding between two groups of young people that left one young man dead and now has put three others in prison,” said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele.

Washington has been charged with First-Degree Murder, Second-Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, and related offenses.

He is being held without bail.
