Cold changes coming behind tonight’s rain and snow chance

The next weather-maker brings showers and a chance for a little bit of light snow through Thursday morning.

Cloudy and mild with highs in the low 50s today before a powerful cold front moves in tonight.

Rain and snow showers are likely tonight. A quick dusting is possible but there will be little to no accumulation. By Thursday’s sunrise, precipitation will have cleared, but there may be some slick spots during the morning commute.

High temperatures will barely make it to freezing. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine and breezy conditions in the afternoon.

Colder temperatures continue for the end of the week and weekend with highs in 30s on Friday, low 40s Saturday and mid 30s Sunday. There is a slim chance for a mix of rain and snow showers Saturday.

The cold will stick around early next week with highs in the mid 30s on MLK Day. Tuesday will be bitter cold with highs sitting in the 20s.
