Al-Ahli Begins Rehabilitation Journey for Injured Player Ahead of Al-Taawoun Match
Mohammed Abdulrahman, a player for Al-Ahli Saudi Club, has begun his recovery program from the injury he sustained while playing with the Olympic Green team during the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.
The Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiyah” reported that the player is currently undergoing intensive therapy sessions under the supervision of the club’s medical staff, in preparation for a gradual return to team training.
The source added that his rehabilitation program focuses on strengthening the injured leg muscle, and the duration of his absence will be adjusted based on the muscle’s response to treatment and rehabilitation in the coming days.
Abdulrahman suffered a calf muscle tear during matches with the Saudi Arabia under-23 national team, which led to his exclusion from the training camp and the postponement of his participation with Al-Ahli.
Al-Ahli is preparing to face Al-Taawoun in the fifteenth round of the Roshn Saudi League, at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, on Wednesday evening at 8:30 PM Saudi time.
Al Ahly occupies fourth place in the league standings with 28 points, having achieved 8 wins, 4 draws, and 1 loss. The team hopes to continue its positive results.
