Manchester United will likely appoint a permanent boss with Michael Carrick now in interim charge following the sacking of Ruben Amorim this month.
It is a role Zidane has been linked to in the past with Thomas Tuchel, Luis Enrique and Gareth Southgate all in the running for the Red Devils post.
Oliver Glasner is another candidate after he confirmed he will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season.
Xabi Alonso is also on the market after his dismissal by Real Madrid.
