The Seahawks elevated running back Velus Jones Jr. from the practice squad on Saturday, adding running back depth ahead of their divisional round playoff game against the 49ers.

Jones, who signed with the Seahawks earlier this season, appeared in three games during the regular season, rushing four times for 32 yards. He gives the Seahawks a third running back behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet with George Holani still on injured reserve.

A third-round pick of the Bears in 2022, Jones has appeared in 37 career games with two starts, carrying 24 times for 197 yards while catching 12 passes for 135 yards.
