Taylor, Conners and Svensson all in contention in final round of Sony Open

The 2026 PGA Tour season is well underway and a Canadian contingent of Nick Taylor, Corey Conners and Adam Svensson are in contention in the final round of the Sony Open.
Taylor leads the Canadian group at 9-under entering the final round and is three shots back of American Davis Riley for the lead.
The Winnipeg native had been fighting at the top of the leaderboard throughout the first three rounds and finished yesterday with a 70 at even par.
Conners and Svensson both gained ground on Saturday, finishing just behind Taylor at 8-under.
Svensson rose 14 spots on the leaderboard after playing a 3-under 67 in the third round, highlighted by an eagle on the ninth hole.
Conners had the biggest gain on Saturday among the Canadians, moving up 28 spots after hitting a 5-under 65 with six birdies on the day.
