Who will the Rams play next? NFC championship opponent

Breaking down an electric NFL divisional round weekend
Chris Bumbaca and Prince Grimes dive into the matchups and storylines of the NFL divisional playoff round.
The stakes were set entering the second NFC divisional round game: winner gets to hit the road for the NFC championship game.
Since the Chicago Bears vs. Los Angeles Rams game was the final game of this year’s divisional round, both teams already knew that they’d be headed for a road matchup in the NFC title game if they came away from Jan. 18 with a win. The NFC’s earlier divisional round game had been decided the night of Jan. 17 and locked in the home site for this year’s NFC championship game.
Here’s what to know about who the Rams/Bears will play next after their big win in Chicago on Sunday night:
The Rams won the final divisional game of the NFL playoffs this postseason, meaning they already know who they’ll be playing in the next round: the Seattle Seahawks.
As the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the Seahawks will host the NFC championship game next week.
Seattle took down the San Francisco 49ers in the earlier NFC divisional round game on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Rams will be playing for their first Super Bowl berth since the 2021 season in Super Bowl 56, which they won over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Seahawks are looking for their first NFC title since the 2014 season.
