Exclusive | John Harbaugh tells The Post why he’s ‘fired up’ to coach for Giants fans

He noticed you.
John Harbaugh, while traveling a long and not-so-winding road in his 28-year NFL journey, has experienced a great many things. Seeing and hearing and running into Giants fans convinced him that they are omnipresent.
“First of all, I’ve got great respect for Giants fans because they’re so darn loyal,’’ Harbaugh told The Post on Monday. “These fans are amazing. We played the Giants enough over the years. I was in Philly for 10 years. Even in the AFC when we played the Giants, whether it was up here and you see the fans up close or the fans that would come down to Baltimore, [I] was always impressed by the loyalty, even in the neighborhoods, there’s Giants fans everywhere. It’s like the whole country’s infiltrated with Giants fans.
“Come across somebody and you might be talking to them and it’s ‘Yeah, I’m a Giants fan.’ You hear that a lot. I’m pretty fired up about that because it’s a huge fan base first of all and it’s a loyal fan base. That’s kinda a nice combination.’’
