WWE Raw Match Ends Early Due To Injury

WWE

A match during tonight’s January 19 episode of WWE Raw in Belfast, Northern Ireland was forced to finish earlier than planned due to injury.

To start the year, WWE has been calling up a number of the top stars from NXT, including the likes of Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Jordynne Grace.

Another name who has made that move is new WWE Raw star Je’Von Evans, who started a winning streak with victories over The Miz, Rayo Americano (Pete Dunne) and Bravo Americano (Tyler Bate).

Tonight, Evans looked to go three for three against the Americanos when he faced El Grande (Ludwig Kaiser).

However, the match came to an abrupt halt when the doctor had to check on Evans.

The break in action carried on all the way through a commercial break with no contact between Americano and Evans with the doctor continuing to check on him.

When the show came back from the break, the referee immediately called for the bell to ring and ring announcer Mark Nash announced that Evans wasn’t medically able to compete, meaning Americano was declared the winner.

We’ll keep you posted if any further details emerge on the exact nature of Evans’ injury.
