January the 21st, 2026 – Croatia’s beautiful Parentium Plava Laguna wins the Holiday Check Award 2026, further spotlighting the Croatian coast.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna is the winner of the internationally recognised HolidayCheck Award 2026, which, based on guest reviews, ranked it among the most popular hotels in the whole world.
The HolidayCheck Award is otherwise given to accommodation establishments that have achieved exceptionally high guest ratings on the HolidayCheck platform, one of the leading independent portals for holiday and travel reviews in the German-speaking world. In 2026, 717 hotels from 36 countries were awarded, based on the analysis of more than 892,000 verified reviews.
This recognition confirms the consistent quality of service, high business standards and the continuous orientation of Croatia’s Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna towards excellence and guest satisfaction.
“HolidayCheck Award 2026 is an extremely important recognition for us because it comes directly from our guests. It confirms that our investments in quality, employees and the overall experience of the stay are recognised at the international level. This award is an additional motivation for us to further develop and improve our service,” they stated from Plava Laguna.
In the first nine months of last year, the well known Plava Laguna hotel group generated an enormous 237.8 million euros in operating revenue, which is representative of 5.2 percent more compared to the same period in 2024, while net profit slightly decreased by 0.2 percent to 82.1 million euros, according to data from the group’s financial report.
