Summer House stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are breaking up. Amanda shared the mutual announcement on Instagram Stories on January 19, writing, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.” The two began dating during the early days of Summer House in season two, before getting engaged at the end of season three and eventually married at the season finale of season six in 2021.
The breakup comes just before the season ten premiere on February 3, which teased marital issues for the former couple. Amanda complained to the girls about Kyle’s partying, saying he “fell asleep at some fan’s apartment and got home at six in the morning.” She’s also seeing crying as the women are telling her that Kyle shouldn’t be mistreating her and making their relationship problems involve the whole group. All while Kyle was upset that Amanda didn’t show support for the biggest DJ set of his career. Priorities, people!
