Twelve years after exchanging vows with husband John Legend, the Star Search judge is still doing “little things” in her relationship with the “All of Me” singer to show just how much she cares.
As she jokingly put it, “For all he knows, I have never farted or pooped.”
“You got to keep the sexy and preserve the sexy in a little bit of ways,” she exclusively told E! News’ The Rundown host Erin Lim Rhodes at the Jan. 20 premiere of the Netflix talent competition. “I won’t say that John necessarily does that all the time, but I make sure that I do.”
And her Star Search costar Sarah Michelle Gellar agrees, quipping in their joint E! interview that the secret to her and husband Freddie Prinze Jr.‘s own 23-year marriage is “separate bathrooms.”
But the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum had more than just relationship advice for Chrissy. As mom to teenagers Charlotte, 16, and Rocky, 13, she encouraged the Cravings cookbook author to let her and John’s kids discover their own passions.
