The National Weather Service predicts an 80% chance of rain Friday night and Saturday morning, when temperatures could sink as low as 30 degrees. The weather service warned that hazardous ice is possible, making roads potentially dangerous to drive on.
Although meteorologists are still waiting on forecast models to get more information about how long icy conditions could last, some school districts have already taken precautions to cancel or reschedule events planned Friday.
