Kai Cenat Went Analog With This Unexpected Fashion Week Accessory — See Photos

Kai Cenat toting his journal all over Paris shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who have been following him for a while—and it has nothing to do with performativity. Since December 2025, the streamer has been documenting his reading and writing journey, among other hobbies, on his new side channel, Kai’s Mind.
In his videos, Cenat has shared that he’s adamant about becoming a more articulate speaker, and to achieve his goal, he’s embarked on a journey to read for an extended period—anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour—out loud every day.
“Honestly, the reason why I started reading was because I didn’t like the way I spoke,” Cenat explained in a video. “To be honest, I wanted to articulate myself better. I noticed that when I got into arguments, and I had to get a point across, people were not taking me seriously at all.”
In the same video, he also shared that he had been writing alongside reading and admitted that one of his big motivations for starting this journey was also his interest in his forthcoming fashion brand, Vivet. “As I am making my venture into clothing, I feel like when people have to ask me questions about the garments that I end up releasing, I should be able to articulate myself perfectly and explain what is going on and my thought process behind each garment and inspiration,” he added.

Cenat’s journal, the same one that made its PFW debut, has also been featured on his side channel and is, in fact, full of his ideas for Vivet, including the brand logo. “This will be the bread and butter of the brand,” Cenat said in a video. So, of course, it makes sense that the journal would travel with Cenat to France to jot down ideas during the hustle and bustle of fashion week.
If Cenat’s look proves anything, it’s that the hottest accessory of 2026 does not have to be a new bag or belt, but the outward representation of our New Year’s resolutions or favorite hobbies—whether that’s a journal, a book, a sketchbook, knitting needles, or anything in between. If you love it, better show it!
